DOMINION MARKSMEN
A TEAM FOR SYDNEY [bt telegraph—press association] WELLINGTON, Thursday Preparations have been made for a team of ten New Zealand marksmen to attend the New South Wales championship rifla meeting, which will be opened on tha Liverpool range, Sydney, on October 8. Eight of the team are members of the Petone Club and the others are from the South Island. They are:—W. H. Ballinger > E. A. Ballinger, A. S. Ballinger, R. H. Nicholl, A. H. O'Donnell, H. L. Rule, J. Carter and T. J. Chapman (all Petone), H. Koppert (Oamaru), and G. Cromie (Rakaia). Carter, the captain> left by the Monowai for Sydney on Tuesday.
