National Bank of New Zealand for about five years, and will, have completed 44 tsi years of service next May, has been, granted six months' leave of absence from next month prior to his retirement. Mr. Armitage was on the staff of the Dargaville branch of the bank many year 3 ago. Before returning to Dargavilie ha f v was manager at Waiuku for some years. r - He is a prominent member of the Dargaville Bowling Gilub, and is its present president.
