THE LAUNCH BETH
STOP MADE AT WHANGAREI ADUSTMENTS TO ENGINE [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WHANGAREI, Tuesday The ketch-rigged cruising launch Beth, which left Auckland on Saturday for Whangaroa, on the first stage of her voyage to Adelaide, berthed at Whangarei yesterday owing to a leaky pipe. The owner, Mr. T. H. Webb, said that trouble developed in the pipe and he considered it best to have it repaired immediately. He tied up at Onerahi and later came to Whangarei, where the fault* ' wag : rectified and other adjustment's made to "the engine. '•
The boat experienced an excellent run from Auckland. She left for Whangaroa this evening. s •
