LABOURER GIVEN A CHANCE "Accused is quite a decent chap and this is his first lapse," remarked Detec-tive-Sergeant McHugh when David George Reece, aged 27, labourer, pleaded guilty in the Police Court yesterday to a charge of stealing an Oregon pine plank and a boat mast, of a total value of £5, the property of B.
