Masters, to business men to open new markets, to ask the Minister to repeal the clauses and Acts governing the Meat, Dairy, Fruit and Honey Boards empowering them to assume absolute control of the commodities under their supervision. It was reported that a number of large firms in New Zealand were deterred from making new trade connections overseas by ibe powers which the boards bold to take over their markets from them by compulsion once those markets become lucrative.'
