AERIAL POST
Sir,—l believe I have a stamp impressed with a die specially cut to commemorate the first aerial post in the wcfrld. The letter was posted in Allahabad,■'lndia, in February, 1911, stamped with a design of the actual aeroplane «on which the mail was carried, and the words, "First Aerial Post, Allahabad Exhibition," and the printed circular states that the mail was to bo the first in tho world despatched by aeroplane from a Government post office in the course of its business.
