CAUGHT IN BELTING

MISHAP TO FARMER [by tklegraph—OWN CORRESPONDENT] PALMERSTON NORTH, Sunday As a result of his clothing becoming entangled in the belt and pulley of a milking machine, Mr. F. Ayres, a farmer, of Cloverlea, was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital yesterday morning. Mr. Ayres was standing close to the belting of the machine when his clothing was caught and he was drawn toward the pulley. He was released by a man working near by, but the injuries to his ribs were such as to necessitate his removal to hospital.
