DANCE AT PIRATE SHIP

MILFORD GIRLS' EFFORT The first danco given by the Milford Girls' Surf Life-saving Club took place at the Pirate Ship, Milford, on Saturday and was attended by a large number of guests. The proceeds of tho dance will be donated to a fund for buying equipment. Bartley's Pirato Ship orchestra provided the music. Supper was served upstairs, where the tables were decorated in tho club colours and bowls of golden wattle. Among those present were:—Mrs. J. W. Brown, apricot georgette; Miss Allen, black satin; Miss Ros/; Wake, ivory satin and laco; Miss 1. Scholium, delphinium blue lace; Miss Sylvia Scales, silver lame and blue taffeta; jWiss 0. Block, apple green georgette; Miss M. Allen, black satin; Miss Unice Wilson, cameo pink satin; Miss Winks, powder blue taffeta; Miss Muriel Wilson, lloral lace; Miss Roma Warbrick, pink and black net; Miss M.
