ALLEGATION OF FORGERY
CHARGE AGAINST MAORI [ny TF.T-iF.rcRAFH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] ROTORUA, Saturday A rbarpe of forgery was preferred against a native, Tommy Thompson, in the Rotorua Magistrate's Court to-day. In asking for a remand Senior-Sergeant Carroll stated that it was alleged that accused forged a cheque for £4O on August 31. Accused was remanded until September 9, bail being allowed.
