CYCLIST INJURED
COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR CONDITION FAIRLY SERIOUS Head injuries and concussion were received by Mr. Alfred John Bryant, aged 44, married, when his bicycle collided with a stationary motor-car in West End Road, Herne Bay, shortly before five o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Bryant was riding down West End Road, where the grade is fairly steep. He was thrown forward over the handlebars and struck his head against the back panel, of the car. Mr. Bryant, who lives at 8 Richard Street, Grey Lynn, was taken in the car to the residence of Dr. H. F. Holmden and was later admitted to the Auckland' Hospital. His condition last evening was fairly serious.
