VICTORIA LEAGUE GIRLS
An enjoyable concert was given at tho Jubilee Institute for the Blind by tlie Victoria League Girls' Committee. The programme was arranged by the conveners, Mrs. G. Roose and Miss Mavis McCulloch. Bright chorus songs were given by the Misses Phyllis Renner, Ray do Castro, Frances Vinson, Mizpah Hutchison, E. Thomson, Maud Martin, Owen Pfckett, W. Barries and Esnic Fox; piano solos were contributed by tho Misses Joyce Hewitt and Tilly Rowntree; songs by the Misses Renner and Martin; sketches and recitations bv Mrs. G. Roose, Misses Mary Cruickshank, Roscanrio Lovell and ftlary Pilkington. Dancing was enjoyed between tho items, excellent dance music being played by Messrs. 0. Harvey and L. Taylor, inmates of the institute.
