Miss Kathleen Bishop, of Hastings, is visiting Auckland. Miss LI. M. Black, of Waipukurau, is on a brief visit to Auckland. Miss I. Wallace Smith, of Wellington, is staying at Hotel' Stonehurst. Mrs. J. Climie is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. Penn, of New Plymouth. Lady Ohaytor (England) arrived in Wellington last week from Sydney. Miss Mary Truby King returned lo Wellington last week after a visit abroad. Miss Winsome Airey and Miss Rona Clifford are leaving to-day for a visit to the Chateau. Mrs. W. G. Mantel], of Wellington, is visiting Auckland and is staying at Hotol Stonehurst. Miss Margaret Moyes and Miss E. Rutherford, of New Plymouth, left at the end of last week by motor for Auckland. Miss Helen Turnbull, of Galatea, is visiting Auckland, where she is the guest of Miss Sunday Stratford, Domain Street. Mrs. W. Brinsley, of Dunedin, is visit' ing Auckland, where she is the guest of Mrs. P. Lightbourne, Shelly Beach lload, Herno Bay. Among the new arrivals at present staying at Hotel Vcntnor, Devoiiport, are: Mrs. Akhurst, of Whangarei; Miss E. Johnston, Hastings; Miss M. Stevens, Whangarei. At a meeting of the Dominion Road League of Mothers Mrs. S. 0. English gave an address upon the Passion Play at Oberanimergau. Mrs Vercoo and Mrs. Bruce contributed solos. The. Hon. Mrs. Olga Daniell. sister of Her Excellency- the Lady Bledisloe, and her son, Mr. J. Daniell, who have been guests at. Government House, Wellington, left on Friday for Napier in continuance of their tour of New Zealand.
