Aug. 28 The course records for six furlongs, fecven furlongs and a mile were equalled in the chief races nt the Warwick Farm Meeting yesterday. One of the features of iho racing was the defeat of Kuvera by Bronze Hawk in the Hobartville Stakes, for three-year-olds. Kuvera was the outstanding two-year-old in Australia. Just season, reaching a high standard jn tho autumn, when hin victories included the Sires' Produce Stakes and tho Champagne Stakes at Bandwiek. Kuvera's winnings as a juvenile were over £11,500- His conqueror, Bronze llawk, i did not do much racing as a two-year-old and ho opened his winning account only j in July* when ho won a division of a maiden two-year-old race at Menanglo. Bronze Hawk and Kuvera oro both sons of Brazen, the sire of Bronze Eagle.
