AFFAIRS AT TE AWAMUTU [from OUR OWN correspondent] TE AWAMUTU, Saturday The 12th annual meeting of the Ta Awamutu Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Association was held last evening. Mr. M. H. Williams presided over a good attendance. The annual report stated that last year there was a loss of £25, although every reasonable economy had been made. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. W. G- Park (Puahue), president, Mr. M. H. Williams; vice presidents, Messrs. H. Allen (Kihikihi), and W. G. Macky (Paterangi); treasurer, Mr. S. A. Empson; auditor, Mr. G. 0. Jourdain. The executive committee was reelectedj with the addition of Messrs. C. S. Mexted, H. Clarke, H. Fear, S. Rhodes, M. McNair, A. D. Wallace and F. Quin. The ladies' committee was reelected with Mrs. W. G. Macky as convener, and the following new members: — Mesdames L. Eyre, J. B. Hutchinson, Robson, G. W. Glasson, H. Fear, J. T. Young, A. Coster, L, E." Nicholson, A. St. P. Jordan. J. R. Flay, C. North, W. Godfrey, A. Stuart, J. B. Hutchinson and J. R. K&fIt was decided to hold the next s&ow on February 15.
