Tries were scored for England by Woods (4), Feetham (2), Brogden (2), Fendor and Hudson (2), Williams and Atkinson. J. Sullivan, the English captain, converted 10 of the 13 tries, some with magnificent kicks from tho sideline. Baskerville, one of the originators of the League game in New Zealand and Australia, hy visiting the Karori cemetery and placing a wreath on the grave.
