RADIO LICENCES
INCREASE IN ENGLAND (Received August IG, G. 35 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Aug. 13 Officials at the General Post Office, Ix>ndoti, state that the number of wireless licences issued at the end of July was 1,800,000. This was over 1,000,000 more than a year ago. It is anticipated that the 5,000,000 mark will l> e reached dining the Radio Exhibition which is to bo opened ;i! Olympia'on Friday.
