REDUCTION IN RENT
HOSPITAL BOARD LEASES Several reductions in rent have been mado by the Auckland Hospital Board in accordance with tbo National Lxpendituro Adjustment Act, according to a report presented to the board by the Finance Committee yesterday. Numerous applications for reductions bad been received, and several had heen granted, the adjustments resulting in a reduction of the lease rentals from £347 to £289. In the majority of cases, rents were already below and applications for reductions were not entitled to consideration.
