MATCH AGAINST WEST COAST [TO-DAY'S GAME AT GREYMOUTH [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] GREYMOUTH, Tuesday The English League football team was given a civic reception to-day and was entertained at a ball. Presentations were made of an album to Messrs. J. Sullivan (captain), from the Marist Club, and a miniature football of West Coast coal and gold to Mr. R. L Anderton, one of the joint managers of the team. Messrs. Sullivan and Anderton gave addresses from the wireless station 3ZR. The teams for to-morrow are:— England.—J. Sullivan (captain), B. PREPARATIONS FOR TEST AUCKLANDERS GO SOUTH [by telegraph—PßESS association] WELLINGTON, Tuesday A party of about 12 New Zealand League footballers left for Christchurch this evening in order to get in some early practice for the second League test at Christchurch on Saturday. The following 11 New Zealand players arrived from Auckland and held a practice to-day:— Cooke, Brisbane, Watene, List, Davidson, Hassan, Hutt, Campbell, Stephenion, Lawless, Abbott.
