LATE MR. H. R. HOGG
AN IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Friday The funeral of the late Mr. H. R. Hogg took place this afternoon, and was one of the largest seen in-, the district in recent years. Members of the Opotiki Masonic Lodge, of which he was a past master, headed the procession, which extended over a-quarter of a mile. Members of all tho local bodies, and the fire brigade, with its engine, attended. Tho first part of tho service was •conducted at St. Stephen's Church by the Rev. N. F. Benham, and there was a Masonic servico at the graveside. The whole staff of the Bav of Plenty Power Board, of which Mr. was chairman, attended.
