WEDDING IN LONDON
TWO FAMOUS FLIERS MOLLISON AND MISS JOHNSON (Received July SO, 12.35 a.m.) LONDON, July 29 The two famous fliers Mr. J. A. Mollison and Miss Amy Johnson were married at St. George's, Hanover Square, this morning. Kathleen, Countess of Drogheda, » pioneer airwoman, gave the bride away. Lieutenant-Colonel F. C. Shelmerdine, Director of Civil Aviation, was best man. Mr. Mollison wore a grey lounge suit and Miss Johnson was simply dressed in black. A grea 1 crowd of admirers mobbed the couple as they left the church. The bride'.; parents arrived too late.for tho wedding. Mrs. Mollison says that she and her hus- • band are determined that neither will interfere with th© other's flying plans. When Mr. Mollison returns from his Atlantic flight he proposes to fly with his wife in slow stages to Australia.
