HOSPITAL CONCERTS
Tho weekly concert arranged by Mrs. Raoburn and Mr. A. Hamblin %vas given in Ward 17 of the Public Hospital on Wednesday evening. A most enjoyable programme was provided by Mrs. and Miss Kathleen Boyles' Juvenile Conceit Party, which was greatly enjoyed by tho patients and others. The programme consisted of songs, choruses, fancy dancing, toe dancing and other items. All tho young people were in fancy costume, which added to tho pleasuro of the entertainment. Those taking part were Patricia Boyle, Zelda I'yke, Mildred Edwards, Helen Coney, June Rice, Jean Martin, Pat Macken, Patsy Christmas, Betty Brown, Norma Jeffers, Marjorio Adamson, Joan McAlpine, Mavis Ward and Noel Mathieson. Mrs. Boyle was tho accompanist and Miss Kathleen Boylo directed tho programme. Patients in tho Returned Soldiers' Hospital Annexe were entertained to an evening under the direction of Madam Dunn. A very enjoyajilo concert was given. Those taking part wcro Miss Nellie Marriage, Miss Zoo Madigan, little Aldwyth Dunn, Misses Dorothy and Rangi Katipa, Mr. Stan Gay, Mr. Geo, Mr. Geof. Laird. Madam Dunn wa3 tho accompanist.
