THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE STEADY TONE MAINTAINED A firm tone was maintained on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, and the volume of investment business was of easier dimensions. Few notable movements occurred in general investments. Unchanged rates were realised for British Tobaccos, which changed hands at 28s, more being forthcorning at that price. New Zealand Refrigeratings were done at 12s, a fall of 3d, and the contributing issue was released 4d lower at 4s sd.
