ENCOURAGEMENT IN WAIKATO Wifh a view to fostering gardening among children, the Waikato Winter Show Association proposes to include jti its next schedule a class for the best collection of vegetables grown by a boy or girl under 38 years of ago in his or her own garden. The space to bo filled is sft. by 4ft. 6in. Two of (lie members of the association's committee are offering prizes and an additional prize will be given to tho competitor with the best-kept garden.
