Jn Lancashire League cricket matches on Saturday Alan Fairfax (Accrington) scored 71. Arthur Richardson (Bacup), besides an unbeaten 70, took seven wickets for 28. Tlie New Zealander, W. E. Merritt, bowling for Rushton, captured seven wickets for 33.
