SYDNEY. July 11
Tempestuous weather and incessant rain have been experienced for nearly a week in most parts of New South Wales and Victoria. The conditions at sea have been most unpleasant. A fresh cyclonic disturbance has now made its appearance, bringing rough weather along tho seaboard. Coastal vessels have ceased running. The riv.ers are flooding in most parts of Victoria, particularly in Gippsland, where live-stock is being moved to safety. Fears are now entertained of the flooding of the coastal rivers in New South Wales. Snow fell at the week-end in the southern highlands, causing a train to be held up on the way to Bombala. Men are now clearing the snow from the railway track. Service coaches on the south coast are not able to continue running. The passengers on the coastal liners Canberra, Mundana and Orungal had an exciting time last night. Even the deck cabins were flooded. .Vessels arriving at Sydney to-day are all showing traces of buffeting.
