CARETAKER'S DEATH.
NO RELATIVES IN DOMINION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] HASTINGS, Monday.
A man named William Henry Day, who for tho past 18 months had been caretaker of the Hastings Drill Hall, was found hanging from a rafter in the hall this morning. Apparently he had been dead for several hours. His ago was 46 and he is believed to be a bachelor without any relatives in New Zealand. He was born afc Crewe, England, and served with tho Veterinary Corps in the Great War.
