CRICKET IN CANADA.
AUSTRALIANS WIN AGAIN. MATCH WITH EASTERN TEAM. (Received July 3, 7.15 p.m.) TORONTO, July 2. The first match between Mr. A. A. Mailev's Australian cricket team and Eastern Canada was won by the Australians by 10 wickets. Each side batted 12 men. The Canadians scored 176 runs for eight wickets and declared. The Australians replied with 225 for eight wickets declared. In the second innings the home team scored 103 and the Australians wiped oS the dencit of 55 runs without loss. MeCabe was the outstanding player, both in bowling and batting. He scored 105 in the first innings and took eight wickets for 25 runs. Wookey, one for 30, Biggar one for one. In the second innings the Australians continued to bat for the entertainment of the crowd of 2503 after the game had been won. Bradman made 52 and McCabe 3L
