RED CORPUSCLES.
The factories where the red blood corpuscles are made arc found in the red marrow of the bones.
Theiru the work gees on day and night, for a corpuscle lives only two or threo weeks. When it dies it is broken up and the chemical parts stored until needed for new corpuscles. Tho liver is Lho great storehouse of the body and there is kept a substance necessary for healthy blood. In some forms of anaemia this substance is missing. The deficiency can be made up and the health .of tho blood restored if the patient takes calves' liver daily. Cocking destroys the effect, so the liver should bo eatei raw or very lightly cooked.
