SMUGGLED FROM CHINA.
Fashions in dogs seem to change as often as fashions in dress. Just now the French bulldogs are much Been about in London, for they " go with " the late Victorian and early Edwairdian trend of dress. Edward VII. was the first owner of a French bullodg in England. Queen Victoria, strangely enough, was the first owner of a Pekinese, which was smuggled from China.
