WHY I READ GIRLS AND BOYS.
I rend and appreciate the page because 1 know it is doing inestimable work in character building. It fosters ideals, humanitarian instincts, practical sympathy with the suffering and needy—kindness to animals. It encourages love of home and unselfishness. It, fills many little lives with pleasure, that would otherwise be dull and uninteresting. I believe the Power of the Press is most nobly evidenced in " Girls and Boys"— for every member that passes through its page must prove a lifelong witness of its influence. 8.L., Manukau Road.
