WEDDING.

OrWAY—HISLOP. A picturesque evening wedding took place at Holy Trinity Church, "Devonport, on June 22, when Mary Isabel, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hislop, of Devonport, was married to Arthur Douglas Keith, eldest son of Mrs. I. D. Otway, also of Devonport. The Rev. R. D. Davison officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore the gown in which her mother had been married. It was of parchment shaded chiffon and lace with pearl trimming. Tho court train of 'satin, which bore a horseshoo of orange blossom, extended from tho shoulders, and her veil of Honiton lace \Vas caught back and held with a low coronet of orange blossom. Her bouquet was of red roses with ribbons to match. The diamond brooch worn by the bride was a gift of the bridegroom. She also wore a beautiful pendant of sapphires and diamonds, the gift of her grandmother, Mrs. Hudson, sen., of Dunedin. The bridesmaids were Miss Molly Neville and Miss Nancy Otway, sister of the bridegroom. Their frocks wero of cardinal red ring velvet, with coatees to match trimmed with ermine, and they also wore hats of fur felt with cream ostrich plume. Muffs of ermine were carried. The train bearer, Patricia Hislop, sister of tho bride, wore a replica of the bride's frock. Mr. Ted. Otway, of Ramarama, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. Roy Morrit groomsman. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was held at Moeraki, the residence of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Hislop received the guests, Mrs. Hislop wearing a gown of black lace and georgette, and hat with black osprey mount. Ilcr bouquet was of tangerine colours. Mrs. Otway, mother of the bridegroom, wore a frock of black chiffon patterned in rose and green with black fur felt hat. She carried a boujjuet of pink anemones.
