LAWN TENNIS.
EDEN AND EPSOM CLUB. There was a good attendance of members at the annual meetinic of the Eden and Epsom Lawn Tennis Club. The balancesheet showed a small deficit on the year's working, which under the existing circumstances was considered very satisfactory. The report stated ithe membership was considerably increased during the season. A number of the players figured prominently in various events and altogether the club had had a successful iseason. M. Morrison was a member of the Wilding Shield team, while Miss Knight gained a place in the New Zealand te\m. ag:ainst the Australian ladies Miss JE. Ramsey was selected for Auckland for the Nunnelly Casket competition.

The retiring president. Mr. N. A. Campbell, was accorded u vote of thanks and appreciation for his services to tho club for the past seven years, during which time he h a<;l been president.
