FLOOD WATERS NEAR FOXTON.

The main Wellington-Auckland highway near Foxton was blocked this morning by flood waters, the depth in some places over the road exceeding 3ft. T ! ie Mouiicta Basin, a short distance away, has filled with overflow water from the Manawatu Siver, and as drainage flows from there across the Whirokin;> highway, it is considered the road will be blocked for several days.
