Notice is hereby given that it is tho intention of the Mount Albert Borough Council, at a meeting: to be held on TUESDAY, the 19th day of July, 1932, at 7.30 p.m.. in the Council Chamber, 539, New North Road, Mount Albert, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," the "Rating Act, 1925," and all_ or any othet enactments it thereto enabling, to make and levy the following Rates, viz.:— A Consolidated Rate of 3 3-5 pence in the £ on the Capital Value of all rateable properties appearing in the Valuation Roll for the Borough of Mount Albert, in lieu of the following Rates. A CONSUMERS' WATER RATE, upon all lands and buildings to which water is supplied otherwise than per meter, whose annual valuo does not exceed £l2 10s, Ten Shillings per annum; exceeding that value, a rate of Five Pounds per contuin per annum - on suqh annual value. A NON-CONSUMERS' WATER RATE upon each and every property to which water can be, but is not supplied, situate within One Hundred yards from any part of tho Borough Waterworks, one-half of the foregoing amounts. A uniform SANITATION FEE (in connection with the remqval of Houso and Shop Refuse only), at the rate of Fivo Shillings per annum upon each and every Shop or Dwelling within tho Borough ol MountAlbert, from which the Council is prepared to romove such refuse. A uniform SANITATION FEE (in connection with the removal of Nighisoil only) at the rato of £1 8s per annum in respect of every privy (not being connected with a sewer) within the Borough of Mount Albert, from which tho Council is prepared to remove Nightsoil. REBATE ON RATES:— In accordance with tho provisions of Section G4 of the "Eating Acf, 1925," a rebate of £2 10s per centum will be allowed to every Ratepayer on the amount of Current Bates payable by him if such rates are paid within thirty (30) days from the due date thereof, subject to all arrears being paid. Each of the foregoing Rates and Charges to be for the year commenced April 1, 1932. and ending on the 31st day of March. 1933, and to bo payable i& one sujn on the Ist day of August, 1932, at tho Office of the Council, 539, New North Roftd, Mount Albert. Tho Estimates upon which tho above General Rate is based, having been approved by the Council, can bo inspected—together with the yaluation Roll—qt tho Council Ofiico, during office hours. T. R.
