YIELD FROM DAIRYING.

PRODUCTION IN PROVINCE. INCREASE FOR 10 MONTHS. APRIL FIGURE HIGHER. ESTIMATED VALUE OF OUTPUT. Tho production of bulter-fat in the Auckland Province has been exceptionally veil maintained, the figures for the first ton months of tho current dairying season comparing more than favourably with the average output of recent years. To date this season more than 136,001,0001b. have been produced. an increase of 10,184,0001b., or more than 8 per cent., on the returns for the corresponding period in the 1930-31 season. April's yield of butter-fat used in the manufacture of butter and cheese was 9,925,0001b., which is 1,954,0001b. more than in April, 1931, an increase of 24 per cent. In April, 1930, tho yield was 9,927,0001b., practically the same as in April last. It is estimated that tho average pay-out for butter-fat during tho 1931-32 season has been lOd per lb., as compared with an average return to farmers of 10during the previous season. Calculated on this basis the monetary value of the ten months' output this season is approximately £5,666,710, compared with £5.504,500 during 1930-31.
