FARMERS AND LABOUR.
OBJECTION TO STATEMENTS.
Emphatic disapproval of a number of statements made at the annual conference of tho Auckland branch of tho Farmers' Union was expressed at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Friesian Association held at Hamilton on Wednesday. Tho views of the meeting were expressed in tho following resolution:— "That this meeting emphatically disassociates itself from tho views expressed at tho annual conference of tho Auckland Farmers' Union (a comparatively small body, and not thoroughly representative of farmers), that farmers were the natural ally of Labour, and that this meeting also disapproves of other ConiinunisLic statements made at tho conference."
