OBSTACLES ON LINES.
TRAIN-WRECKING ATTEMPTS. SYDNEY SUBURBAN RAILWAYS. SYDNEY, Juno 4. On ilm past three nights deliberate attempts lmvo been mado to wreck trains on three different suburban lines. In each caso tho vigilance of Uio driver prevented serious accidents. Tho police are convinced that a gang of men is responsible for tho attempts. Three trucks wero derailed at Hurstville, but on tho other two occasions tho trains wero stopped before they crashed into obstacles on tho lines.
