NEW LAMBETH BRIDGE.
THEIR MAJESTIES TO OPEN. STRUCTURE COST £350,000. (Received Juno 5, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY. Juno 4. The King and Queen will open the new Lambeth Bridge on July 19. This takes i.ho place of tho old bridge which was demolished in 1929.
The new structure cost £350,000 to build
It is 66ft. wido and has five arches. A total of 3500 tons of British steel was used in its construction. Already it is open to pedestrians*
