EXTRACTS FROM THE HERALD. PROPOSED NEW RAILWAYS. The following are extracts from the New Zealand Herald of June 5, 1882: — Our Wellington correspondent telegraphs :—" The Auckland members are moving in the matter of the Northerns railway connecting Auckland with t 0 Bay of Islands and Hokianga and I am told that it may be depended upon as certain that if we do not get the ern railway the Otago Central line wi still remain on paper.
