ENGINEER'S RESIGNATION.
MR. JAMES MARCHBANKS. WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Thursday. Formal notice of the resignation of Sir. James Marchbanks, general manager and chief engineer of the Wellington Harbour Board. \vas received at a meeting of the board last evening. Mi. Marchbanks has been general manager and chief engineer of the board ''or a number of years, lie was a member of lhe commission which investigated Palmerston North railway facilities in 1921, and was chairman of the Harbour Bridge Commission which sat in Auckland in 1930.
