SHAKESPEARE MEMORIAL.
PRINCE OF WALES TO OPEN

Bri(is'n Wireless. RUGBY, April IG. The new Shak?spearc Memorial Theatre at Stratford-on-Avon, is to be opened on April 23 by tho Prince of Wales. At
the luncheon tho toast of " Shakespeare of immortal memory," will bo proposed by tho veteran Shakespearian actor, Sir Frank 11. Benso i.
Other speakers will be Mr. Stanley Baldwin and tl e French and American Ambassadors, M, de Fleuriau and Mr. A. \V. Mellon. It is anticipated that all the leading countries will be represented. An ode by tho poet laureate, Mr. John Masefield, will be recited at the opening performance in tho theatre when both parts of Henry IV. will bo given.
The new theatre is of striking appear ance and is superbly equipped for tho pro duetion of plays.
