[from our own correspondent.] TAUPIRI, Saturday. The following officers were elected afc the first annual meeting of the Taupiri Boy Scouts: —Patron, Mr. F. Durbridge; President, Mr. F. C. Day; vice-presidents, Messrs. S. Clarke and N. Wilson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. P. Tapper; committee, Mr. and Mrs. T. Eagles,on, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Wilson, Mr. ;and Mrs. C. C. Watts, Mr. T. McDowall, Mr. P. Drinkwater, Mr. W. Button, Mrs. G. Powell, senr., and Mr. F. L. Lovell.
