GLIDING ACTIVITIES.

FLIGHTS AT THE WEEK-END. Favoured with a steady breeze, good flights were made by members of the Auckland Gliding Club on property west of M-angere Mountain yesterday. The sailplane Hawk 11. was used, and flights up to 55 seconds' duration wore made. The possibilities of soaring on the club's present ground were fully exploited, but the results wero not favourable.
