TRAGIC EXPLOSION.
HUGE BUILDING WRECKED. THIRTY PEOPLE KILLED. FIFTY OTHER CASUALTIES. OHIO CITY SHAKEN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, (Received April 15, 7.35 p.m.) NEW YORK, April 14, A sensational and tragic outrage is reported from Columbus, Ohio. Bombs were placed in the Government office building, 13 storeys high, and when they exploded 30 people were, killed and the huge structure was wrecked. It cost £2,000,00-3 to build. The ex plosion shook the city. Eight bodies were recovered in the first search among the ruins tonight. The remainder arc still missing, lifty people were injured.
The construction of the building was suspended many times through labour disputes.
