BOOT BOX. Here is an excellent idea of liuw to make an attractive boot box. It can also be used as a window seat. Take three strong petrol cases; lay one on its fiat, and to each end nail the other cases in an upright position, thus forming a seat with raised sides. If considered too low, the centre box can be raised from the floor, providing it is securely nailed at each end. The seat and arm rests may then be padded with clean straw and covered with cretonne or shadow tissue. The inside may be fitted with a centre shelf for boots or books.
