Among 200 hymns which are likely to b e eliminated from the hymnal of the Methodist churches of America as " impossible," " übsole'e," or "containing exaggerated imagery," is "O, Perfect Love," the favourite hymn at marriage services in Britain. On tlie recommendation of a special commission, many famous " old-time " hymns are to be eliminated to allow for the inclusion of 200 new ones which have been approved.
