DISORDERLY CONDUCT.
MISSION BAY EPISODE. MEN AND WOMEN FINED. A charge of behaving in a disorderly manner '.vas jointly preferred against three yoi.ng women and two men in the Police Court yesterday. The accused ,*ere Eileen Ada Edmonds, Elizabeth Edmonds aad Florence Ethel Frick, who pleaded guilty, and Edwin Swenson and Frederick Maddison, who pleaded notguilty. Sergeant Classon said that on the night 01 Saturday, March 19, be went to the Mission Bay reserve, where a party was progress. The party, which had been organised by Swenson, was attended by the accused and several other persons, four of whom had already been dealt with V the Court.. Tha behaviour of accused *.as very disorderly and offensive language Wcis heard by witness. Maddison *|s the only sober man present. The party continued until early on Sunday morning, many of the residents of the district being disturbed. The magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, fined Bwenson £2 and the other accused £1 taeh. Swenson, who was further charged frith parking his motor-car in a prohibited area, and with failing to produce his driver's licence when requested to do so by the police, was fined 10s on €ach charge.
