HIGH SCHOOL JUBILEE.
NEW PLYMOUTH FUNCTIONS. SUCCESS OF CELEBRATIONS. [BY TELEGRATH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ( \EW PLYMOUTH, Monday. Favoured by fine weather, the jubilee celebrations of the New Plymouth Boys High School have proved highly successful. The celebrations concluded this evening with the, jubilee ball ill the school assembly hall. On Saturday, football matches were played on the new school ground. Local old boys played visiting old boys, and another team met the school first, fifteen. On Saturday evening, the principal gathering of the. jubilee, the, reunion dinner, was held. This proved an outstanding success, some 460 old boys and guests attending. Yesterday niorning, old boys and present, pupils of the school attended a special servjoo conducted by Canon E. H. Strong at. St. Mary's Church. A cricket match between an old boys' eleven and tlu present pupils was played to-day, and swimming and athletic sports were held.
