RUAKURA STATE FARM.
GOOD SEASON EXPERIENCED. A second draft., containing 444 lambs, lias boon despatched from the Ruaknra Slate Fa I'm to the freezing works. The first draft comprised 1224 lambs, which averaged 33 l-31b. in weight and realised 5d per lb. A good season has been experienced at Runkura. The hay crops are now being stacked, and fair yields have been recorded, although tho long spell of dry weather checked tho growth of the pasture from which the hay was made. Excellent conditions have been experienced for the root crops, which are looking particularly >vell.
