ANNUAL COMPETITIONS HELD HIGH STANDARD OF EFFICIENCY. A high standard of efficiency was . ro-ve-nled at the annual competitions for members of tho St. John Ambulance Brigade, held nt. tho Domain on Saturday afternoon. Various obstacles were arranged on the grounds for tho tests, which wore carried out before a number of interested spectators. ' Tho events were contested by about 20 tenffis from the Auckland, Epsom, Onehunga, Otahuhu, Papakura, Huntly, Frank ton and Hamilton districts.
